Consultation Overview:

Focusing on No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament play, Crispin and Jules Leyser teach strategies for success to poker players at all levels of experience. By observing your play during an on-line sit n’ go, they are able to isolate areas of strength and weakness. It is important to identify what type of player you are instinctively for them to best advise on the elements within your game that need to be worked on the most.

After watching you play, they will analyze and offer solutions to problem areas and recommend alternative approaches to hands/player-types/pots/situations in which you are consistently losing chips. Then you will play again with them on your shoulder where, in the moment of play, they can suggest a different approach, identify an opportunity to make a play, and highlight the moments when your game is heading in a negative direction.

A great deal of detailed information is covered in each session so bring a notepad. Also, if you own a wireless laptop please bring that and ensure that it has one of the major online poker websites downloaded complete with an account with funds of $200 with which to play. If you do not have a laptop, one can be loaned to you. In light of the new gaming legislation, recommended sites are Full Tilt, Pokerstars, Absolute and Ultimate Bet.

For the first consultation, we recommend a minimum of a 4-hour session in order to accomplish our goals. After this initial consultation, if you are interested in regular tuition, a personal program will mapped out for you to keep improving your game.

Live sessions take place in Los Angeles, but we also have successfully tutored students ‘remotely’, simply by having an open phone line for you to tell us your hole cards whilst we watch you play.
